We’re home!

We’re home!

A week ago today, we arrived in to Ace Cafe as the first people to ever circumnavigate the globe on a scooter with a sidecar.

After 455 days on the road, we were welcomed with a huge reception at the Ace Cafe and then again at the Banbury Town Hall the following day. We were completely overwhelmed with the welcome party and it was great to see so many of you who have been following along.

In total we travelled just over 34,000 miles, through 35 countries across 5 continents. We faced a temperature range of close to +50°C to -40°C. Both us and the sidecar were really put through our paces and we only made it through the support of you guys at home, the amazing people we met on the road and our fantastic sponsors.

The main purpose of this bonkers trip was to raise awareness and funds for the fight against modern slavery. On route we visited around 10 different organisations who fight slavery where they are. With each visit we learnt about a new way in which modern slavery exists around the world and you can read about it on our website. We’ve been raising as we go and so far we’ve raised nearly £6,500 to be split between the organisations. We want to raise a lot more than that though and for us the real work starts now.

Throughout 2019 we’ll be taking the scooter and sidecar on tour once more! This time we will be taking it to places all around the UK including schools, community centres and events to talk about what we’ve been up to and to hopefully raise some more cash.

At the same time, we’ll be doing lots of other stuff relating to the trip that we will tell you about over the coming weeks! In the mean time, you can help us raise money for the cause by donating on our fundraising page or by buying one of these fantastic supporter t-shirts modelled below!

Thanks so much for all of your support over the past couple of years that we have been planning and driving! We couldn’t have done it with out you!

Exciting stuff to come – keep watching!
